What is Worship?

In the simplest terms, it is gathering together as a community of faith to glorify and enjoy God. Each week we worship through scripture based sermons that apply to our daily lives, prayer, confession of sins and the assurance of forgiveness and through excellence in music.

The 8:30 and 11:00 a.m. services are traditional. Our 5:45 evening service Sunset at Palms is more casual and contemporary with communion each week.Throughout the year, special services include Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Chrismon, Lessons and Carols, and Christmas Eve services.

Music is an important part of our worship life. A marvelous Chancel Choir under the direction of Dr. Ronn Cummings provides music for our 11:00 a.m. worship service, and bi-monthly at our 8:30 a.m.service. The Sunset Music Team offers contemporary music at the 5:45 p.m. service. A mid-week Music CAMP educates children to give praise to God's glory through song and instrument as well as a bell choir and children's choir.
