Worship FAQ's

Q. Where do I go for worship?

A. Morning worship services occur in our sanctuary, while our Sunset at Palms service occurs in the chapel. If you have trouble finding the morning service, look for a red apron and one of our ambassadors will guide you to sanctuary.

Q. This is my first time to worship at Palms, how do I follow the service?

A. The entire service can be found in the bulletin that an usher will offer to you as you enter the sanctuary. There are several parts of our service that we say in unison, and the words for those parts are provided in your bulletin.

Q. Do you have a nursery for small children?

A. Nursery is provided during most of our worship services. The nursery, staffed with skilled caregivers, is open on Sundays between 8:15 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Infants through age 3 meet in room 102 of the Education Building, while 4 to 6 year olds meet in room 103. Nursery for the Sunset Service is available from 5:30 p.m. until 6:45 p.m. Children from infants to age 5 meet in the Education Building.

Q. My children are too old to stay in a nursery, and I really want them to worship with me. Do you have any suggestions to keep them occupied?

A. Children’s Clipboards help make Bible stories child-size. Children can color or draw pictures while they attend a worship service with their family. Please see an usher for a clipboard for your child.

Q. My vision is not what it used to be. Will I be able to follow the service?

A. Large print worship bulletins and hymns are available from our ushers for the 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. services.

Q. I have problems hearing.

A. Hearing devices are available from any usher for those with hearing difficulties.
