One of the key understandings of our faith is that all that we have is a gift from God. God has blessed us with incredible gifts including the singular gift of God’s own Son offered to us in love. In gratitude to the gifts that we have received, we offer our time, talents and treasures to God’s service. We are called to be stewards of the gifts that we have received, using our gifts wisely to further God’s work in the world.

As Christians, we affirm that God gives. Our God is the Creator and has given us everything – our world, our lives and our treasures. In God’s gift of Jesus we see clearly who God is. Jesus came that we might live – a gift so wonderful it’s hard to comprehend. As we claim the wonders of God’s gift of grace, our natural response is joyful gratitude. Enabled by the Spirit, we become new people and want to relate to our community and the world as God did – with unbounded generosity.

At Palms, our Stewardship Ministry helps us to be faithful stewards of God’s gifts both as individuals and as a Christian community. The ministry works to foster member generosity, stewards the gifts of Palms’ talented staff and wonderful facilities, and seeks to serve and support of Palms ministries.
