Within the larger Oasis is the Kids’ Oasis, nurturing children and families in the discovery of the love and joy of Jesus Christ throughout our community.
Can faith be made real to a child? Can a four-year-old minister to others? Can a third grader understand scripture? At Palms Presbyterian Church, the answer is a resounding “Yes”. The Kids’ Oasis Ministry Team focuses on creating a place of belonging, where children are called by name, where discipleship and a love of God and neighbor are nurtured. Beginning with birth and baptism, we take each child seriously, teaching them and loving them as a beloved member of the household of God.

Preschool Sunday School
Preschool Sunday school is for children three years old through Kindergarten. We provide an exciting format where the same Bible story is taught using multi-learning style lessons. During Sunday school, the preschoolers have a time period for Cherub Choir practice where they learn to praise God through song. Preschool Sunday school is held in the Preschool Building behind the Education Building.
Children's Sunday School
Workshop Rotation is Palms’ Sunday morning education program for children in grades 1 through 5. Workshop Rotation is a program that incorporates storytelling, art, drama, puppets, and video workshops to present multi-learning style lessons from God's Word. Workshop Rotation children meet in the Drama Room on the second floor of the Education Building for Children’s Choir at 9:40 a.m. each Sunday. At 10:00, each class goes to its designated workshop for the rest of the Sunday school hour. Sunday school follows a modified format during the summer months.
Nursery
A fully staffed nursery on the lower level of the education building is available beginning for the first worship service, and continuing through the Sunday school hour and the second worship service. Nursery during worship is for children birth through 1st grade. We encourage children older than 1st grade to remain with their parents and church family in worship.
