Facility Use Philosophy and Policy
Palms Presbyterian Church is a house of worship that has been blessed with buildings and equipment for ministry and service to the community. Palms is an Oasis for the life of our community, a place to find Living Water that renews and refreshes. The purpose of Palms’ facilities is to house and encourage that ministry as articulated in the congregational mission statement: "The Palms Oasis is a Community Nurtured by the Grace of Jesus Christ to serve God's Mission in the World." As scheduling permits, we welcome those activities and functions which are directed to that end. The facility policies and guidelines were created as a model of good stewardship.
Facility Use Policy
The buildings, equipment, furnishings, and supplies are the property of the congregation of Palms Presbyterian Church and, therefore, shall not be used by any group or individual without prior approval. The Business Administrator will ensure that rooms are available, confirm requested equipment and facility use is authorized, collect any deposits due, have users execute required documents, issue key(s) or codes, and provide a copy of this policy to all parties that request the use of facilities or equipment.
